Transfer Window
Plan burns and a departure date that carry a craft from Earth to another world on the delta-v you have.
Earth, a target world, and a delta-v budget. Scrub the calendar to choose when to leave, plan prograde or retrograde burns, then press fly — the one commitment. The craft follows the conic your burns made while the target keeps moving, and you scrub through what happened: the meeting, the orbit reached where the planet had been, the flyby that did what your tank could not.

What decides the outcome
The game never restates the science — it imports it. These are the model layers that do the deciding.
Conics from a position and velocity and their propagation (kepler.ts), the worlds' orbit radii, speeds and spheres of influence from the vendored J2000 elements, and the flyby turn (gravity-assist.ts), and the Sun's GM (constants.ts, whose G is physics/model/gravitation's). The game states no law of motion of its own.
Why it teaches
The author's own delete-the-science argument: remove this game's substrate and there is nothing left to choose.
Every burn is a gravitation decision judged by the same conics Astronomy's widgets use: a prograde burn raises the far side of the orbit and a retrograde one lowers the near side, the cheapest transfer is the ellipse that just touches both orbits, leaving on the wrong day arrives where the planet was, and a flyby behind Jupiter turns a path no budget-sized burn could make reach Saturn. Without gravity no burn differs from any other.
