Follows the JEE Main and Advanced syllabus and its own three-section structure. Excludes biochemistry, polymers, food and pharmaceutical chemistry — the “Chemistry in Everyday Life” body JEE Advanced dropped and NEET retains. Includes molecular-orbital theory, crystal lattices, radioactive decay and spectroscopic structure determination, none of which NEET requires.
Medical-entrance aspirants, alongside Grades 11–12
Bounded strictly by NCERT Classes 11–12. Excludes molecular-orbital theory, crystal lattices, coordinate bonds, bond-energy calculation, radioactive decay kinetics, quantum numbers beyond the filling rules, and IR and mass spectrometry — all JEE-only. Adds biomolecules, polymers, everyday-life and environmental chemistry, which carry disproportionate NEET marks and are absent from JEE Advanced.
Paths differ by how deep they go, not just by year group.
Grades 6–8, or anyone new to chemistry
Name the subatomic particles, read an element tile, and tell metals from non-metals by position.
Grades 9–10 — CBSE, ICSE, state boards, IGCSE
Predict radius, ionisation energy and electronegativity from position, and place an unknown element from its successive ionisation energies.
Grades 11–12, board-exam focused
Write any ground-state configuration from position, predict ion configurations, and explain the Cr/Cu exceptions from exchange energy.
Engineering-entrance aspirants, alongside Grades 11–12
Needs the timed drill engine and a previous-year question bank. The three-pass structure (concept → drill → mixed mock) is what makes this different from Senior Secondary; without the drill engine it would just be Senior Secondary renamed.
Any learner needing practical competence — school to postgraduate
Needs the virtual lab and experiment engine. Runs orthogonally to the level ladder — a Grade 9 and an M.Sc. learner can both hold it at once.
