- What this covers, and what it does not
- Bounded by the Class 9–10 board syllabus. Excludes all calculus, complex numbers, matrices and determinants, vectors and 3D geometry, conic sections beyond the circle, inverse trigonometric functions, permutations and combinations, and linear programming — every one of those is Class 11–12 material. Excludes formal proof by induction and contradiction, which 12_EUCLIDEAN_GEOMETRY_AND_PROOF_MODULE.md introduces at a level this syllabus does not assess. Retains construction-with-compass work that later Programs drop.
- How you are assessed
- Board-pattern structured questions with method marks, one-mark definitions, constructions marked on accuracy of method, and stepwise numeric work. Untimed, no negative marking.
- You finish able to
- Solve a pair of simultaneous linear equations algebraically and graphically, prove two triangles similar and use it to find an unknown length, apply the quadratic formula and interpret the discriminant, compute surface area and volume of a composite solid, and find a height using a trigonometric ratio.
