JEE Physics
Engineering-entrance aspirants, alongside Grades 11–12
Rigorous144 topics
- What this covers, and what it does not
- Follows the JEE Main and Advanced syllabus for the classical-mechanics, waves, ray-optics and electrostatics cluster, structured by JEE's own topic blocks rather than by school year. Includes the rigid-body content — rolling motion, the physical pendulum, dynamic lift — that carries JEE marks and sits outside the rationalised NCERT boundary. Excludes the descriptive free-fall and hydraulic-machinery chapters, which carry no JEE marks. Ray optics is covered in full; electrostatics covers charge through capacitance, but Gauss's law and the electric dipole are on the JEE syllabus and not yet authored. Current electricity covers circuits, Ohm's law, combinations, Kirchhoff's laws and RC timing; the Wheatstone bridge, potentiometer and drift-velocity treatment are not yet authored. Magnetism and electromagnetic induction are covered through to Maxwell's equations and electromagnetic waves; the Biot–Savart law, Ampère's circuital law and AC circuit analysis with reactance are on the JEE syllabus and not yet authored. Thermodynamics and kinetic theory are now covered in JEE's own topic grouping — thermal properties of matter, then the kinetic model, then the laws with entropy and the Carnot cycle — which is a different sequence from NCERT's and therefore from the NEET Program's. Thermal expansion is treated conceptually rather than as an examinable calculation, and the thermodynamic processes as p–V work with their adiabatic relations are on the JEE syllabus but not yet authored. Of modern physics only the mass–energy relation is authored, and it is included here because JEE examines it inside Atoms and Nuclei; the rest of the Relativity module — simultaneity, time dilation, length contraction and general relativity — carries no JEE marks and is deliberately left outside this Program. Of quantum physics, JEE examines the photoelectric effect with Einstein's equation, matter waves and the de Broglie relation, the Bohr model and the hydrogen spectrum, and all four are included, grouped under JEE's own Dual Nature and Atoms-and-Nuclei blocks. The remainder of the Quantum Physics module â blackbody radiation and the ultraviolet catastrophe, the double-slit experiment, the wavefunction and electron probability clouds, the uncertainty principle and quantum tunnelling â carries no JEE marks and is deliberately left outside this Program, reachable on the Learn surface but not on this route. Wave optics, nuclear physics and semiconductors are likewise not yet authored.
- How you are assessed
- Timed sectionals with negative marking across single-correct, multi-correct, integer and matrix-match shapes; marks carried by the derivation, then full-syllabus mixed mocks with an error journal.
- You finish able to
- Solve unseen multi-step rigid-body, oscillation and wave problems at exam pace, including problems that combine rotational dynamics with energy conservation inside a single question.
